(More customer reviews)This is not my first articulated mount, but it is the biggest flat screen -- by far -- that I've put up.I've got this holding up a 46" plasma weighing 75 pounds and it seems quite steady.I put it on a stud wall so only four holes were needed, but due to the weight of the mount, it was tedious to hold it in place while screwing in four long lag bolts, even for two people (one being my wife -- it might be much easier for two men).It is important for a prospective buyer to keep in mind that you only put this up once but you use it forever ... given the choice between heavy and non-trivial to install but strong and durable versus lightweight and/or easy to install but untrustworthy, you should prefer the one-time burden of installation that yields a trustworthy, secure mount.
The kit comes with all parts needed for stud mount or concrete mount. All you need is a studfinder (except concrete walls), a pencil, a drill, and a socket set.The wall plate has a level built right into it.(I used a 4' level out of habit anyway, but checked the built-in level and found it would have been just as good.)There is really no provision for hiding and/or routing wires so you'll have to figure that part out for yourself. One other installation tip ... before you decide how high or low to mount the arms to the TV, consider where that will leave the mounting plate in relation to your TV connections ... you don't want to cover your connections up with the plate and not discover that until after the TV's up on the wall.
It is just the right amount of resistance to swing the arm and to adjust the tilt.It is a little bit of a wrangle to go from "flat against the wall" to "sticking straight out with the TV turned perpendicular to the wall" but I just don't make such extreme adjustments often enough to worry about that.Pulling the TV the maximum distance from the wall does *look* kind of scary, but it *feels* completely sturdy.

Product Description:
Adjustable Tilting/Swiveling Wall Mount Bracket for LCD Plasma L-Shape (Max 125Lbs, 32~52inch)One of the big selling points of flat panel displays is the ability to mount it on a wall. Consumers are spending large sums of money to acquire this new technology. So, it's no wonder people are willing to spend hundreds of dollars on a reliable wall mount to ensure that their investment is securely braced to the wall. Other wall mount manufacturers are more than willing to take advantage of the situation. This mount bracket offers the high quality, all steel construction with a longer single arm design instead of the dual arm. This allows for greater flexibility and range of motion since the arm is longer and not limited by a second arm. Warning: This mounting bracket is not compatible with certain LG (r), PIONEER(r) and Sharp(r) brand TVs. Specifically, the following models are not compatible. Pioneer: PDP-6100HD, PRO-1410HD, PDP-614MX, PDP-6070HD, PRO-1540HD, PDP-607CMX, PRO151FD. Sharp: LC-65D93U, LC-65D90U, LC-57D90U, LC-65D64U, LG: LG52LG50-UA
