(More customer reviews)We purchased a Panasonic 42" plasma TV.After viewing it on a table for about a week we decided that we wanted to hang it on the wall.We puchased this wall mount mainly because of the price.Wall mounts go from under $20 to about $200.Overall it is hard to tell any difference besides the brand name on the boxes. This wall mount came with a complete set of bolts, anchors, and spacers. It offers multiple slots to use as mount holes which makes it easy to set the screws in a stud.We used the carriage bolts that came with the mount. We pre-drilled holes before we tried to screw in the bolts.Apparently we didn't use a large enough drill bit because we broke off one of the carriage bolts using a rachet driver to screw it in.We re-drilled the holes about an inch higher (with a larger drill bit) and all of the carriage bolts went in very well.
The part of the of the mount that attaches to the TV went on perfectly. We have a Panasonic Viera S1 42".
The only bad parts are that it is a little too close to the wall.We still have the spaces and could move the TV away from the wall some, but have not.The other item is that the mount blocks the HDM2 input on our TV.This is not an issue for us, but could be for someone else.
We have been using this for two months with no problems and are very happy with the mount.

Product Description:
Unit supports standard 36" to 55" Plasma/LCD flat screen monitors weighing up to 165 lbs. This unit safely locks the monitor to the wall for a more aesthetic display than traditional TV stands. Unlike thinner gauge products, this wall mount bracket is the same product as OEM brackets normally selling for much more. In fact, it is the same product, produced in the same factory, but because of our unique relationship with the factory, we are able to offer this product at a lower price. As the only authorized factory direct retailer for these high end OEM universal wall mount brackets, we are also able to offer this product with a complete lifetime warrantee.
The powder coated finish offers a sleek, modern appearance and provides protection for higher durability. Powder coating is the process by which powdered pigment is applied to and cured on a surface. The process for powder coating consists of a treatment to remove impurities and contaminants followed by the application of the pigments. Then the material is cured at high temperatures, which makes the pigments flow together and react chemically to form the coating. Powder coating is preferred for certain surfaces because it creates or contains close to no volatile organic compounds and does not sag or run with thicker coats, providing the smoothest, most effective finish, even on surfaces with many angles or recesses. Our TV brackets are powder coated because the strong bond to the metal surface offers rust resistance for a longer life.
