(More customer reviews)This is a nicely-built softbox.It pops open easily and supports your flash or studio light well.The material seems thick and sturdy, and the flash ring and bracket are made of metal for excellent support.
Three minor issues, and the reason for only 4 stars.The support rods are very strong.So strong that I can't figure out how to collapse this thing back down to its smallest shape without risk of breaking something.Not a big deal, since just folding it up makes it small enough to carry easily.Second, the ball joint for the bracket head is very weak.With a strobe and the softbox attached, it needs to be really torqued tight to hold everything at the desired angle.Why they went cheap here and nowhere else is a mystery.And lastly, no instructions!C'mon, how much would it cost to put a simple diagram or something in the box?
Minor niggles aside, I'm very happy with this unit.It does the job of diffusing the flash and seems built to last.
