It is incredibly light at less than 3 pounds - making portability one of its greatest strengths. At the same time, it doesn't give up anything in terms of build and strength. It can fully extend to 8 feet tall and is extremely versatile. The easy-to-use knobs make it easy to adjust height and is extremely quick to set up and collapse. The flat-collapse design also makes it possible to link together 3 or 4 of these units together and carry them all with a single shoulder strap (optional and not included).
All in all, Manfrotto has produced a strong and versatile, yet extremely portable option for your lighting needs. Combine this with a Manfrotto 175F Justin Clamp and you'll be set for taking great flash shots! Highly recommended - I will definitely be purchasing more of these in the future!
