I have a small studio. Some small B/W speakers that I was always fighting with trying to find a place to put them. My place is long and narrow, almost trailer like. What is so great is that my office area is in the middle of the room and my futon is at the back of the place.
So, I can easily swing the speakers to face into the room when I am at the computer. I work at home and always have something on. Then, when it is time to chill and watch U-Verse or BluRay, I can swing the speakers over to face the futon and I am all set.
I have a self made surround sound system with an HK receiver and some Energy speakers for the back. Yamaha center and a 32" Sony 1080P. For tunes, I use the SPDIF out of my sound card/iTunes.
