One thing that was nice was that there was a little levelling bubble attached to the wall bracket, so ensuring a level installation was quite easy.I also liked that it was long enough to span two stud bays (my studs are 16" OC).The hardest part of the installation was finding the studs.

I returned it however.

I had just purchased an LG 55lh90.55" screen, 85 lbs.The unit comes in three pieces; one bracket that attaches to the wall, and two hook assemblies that attach to the tv.After attaching the hook assemblies to the tv, you carefully hook the hooks over a metal bar on the wall bracket.

First thing I noticed, was how the bar was deforming under the weight of the tv.Not a lot, maybe about 1/8".But you could clearly see the bar flexing.This was actually pretty alarming to me...i'm not *really* a nervous nellie (well, maybe I am)... but you have to remember, the TV is heavy, awkward and bloody expensive.I'm stressed about hitting the studs right!I saw the flex and had visions of me cleaning up $2000 worth of broken glass on the floor after a great fall.

After settling down, I thought I could live with the slight flexion.However, the real problem came when trying to adjust the tilt.The hooks are set up at the midline, between the bottom and top of the tv.There is a knob on a pivot that you can supposedly tighten, setting the angle of the tilt.

Well, I couldn't get my hand between the tv and the wall to tighten the knob!The height of the tv was such that I decided i really wanted the tv flat to the wall; however, since I couldn't lock down the pivot, it stayed at full tilt down.

All of the above might be a problem because I just bought too big a tv; however, the product info clearly says that it supports up to 165 lbs, about twice what my tv weighs.

The problems were apparent immediately upon installation.I orderd a sanus low profile fixed mount immediately.Just installed that tonight.Really like it.No flex, easy to unlock the tv from the bracket, and best of all, you can pull the tv away from the wall so you can attach your cables *after* it's attached to the wall mount.
