(More customer reviews)I have recently mounted 3 TVs to the walls all with different mounts.This one was pretty easy to figure out and do (it was the first one I did).It comes with all necessary hardware to mount compatible TVs.It allows for security padlocks but does not require them, and easy tilting and hand retightening.Be careful you do not use a screw that is too long or you will crack your screen.

I bought this one for an older TV, but I am a bit happier with it than I am with one of my pricier units.
I also bought a slim mount unit for a different TV.It was more than twice the price and hung the TV like a picture.This made me nervous and I prefer this unit for multiple reasons:
-I can manage the cables easier behind the TV with this.
-I can swivel the TV up and down.The slim mount tilts the TV UP and reflects the lights above adding glare to the TV, this unit is adjustable so you do not have to do this.
-This works great with multiple TVs and not just a single manufacturer.
-This mounts to studs where other units require specific areas for screws.
-I can slide the TV (Assuming your TV is not to wide) after mounting to the studs.

This unit is quite a bit thicker and you could find something somewhere in between, but I am happy as it fits into my situation perfectly.For me it was a winner.
