(More customer reviews)I can nnot turn my camera side ways in the bracket with the battery grip on my XTI. That is a major let down. I kinda dig the bracket, but seems to be suited for smaller cameras, i would assume if you put a 5D in this it would be too small as well.

I broke the screw on the bottom and the extra tilt i got from that made my camera just barely fit sideways.
