Other products had holes that didn't line up with the SSD or the brackets from the case.Not the case with this one, everything lined up perfectly.The plastic works for me as it's one less piece of metal in the case to vibrate and make noise.
My only complaint is that the drive sits too far forward in the mount, which made the SATA power a little tricky to fit. I had to mount the SSD to the top mount on the kit.I didn't try, but I think that it would be difficult to actually mount two drives in this kit.However, at 6.99 each, who cares?
As a side note, this kit is being used to mount a Corsair Performance Series SSD (128GB).The SSD holds only the OS and program files while I use several other HDD for documents, images, etc.My experience with the drive has been fantastic, I've at least doubled my speed.I highly encourage anyone looking at SSD tech to take the plunge.
