(More customer reviews)The bar is a piece of aluminum painted black -- it works as expected.the cold shoes are made in the cheapest manner imaginable.One broke in my hand with little pressure.I drilled a couple more holes and orders some quality cold shoes.I now have a very functional 6 light holder that's really cool.
