(More customer reviews)I wasn't sure these would be strong enough to support the Def. Tech. Pro Monitor 800 speakers I bought because I used the mounting holes on the bottom of the speakers so they go straight out from the wall. That way I could angle them down to the couch under them. I tightened the ball joint coupler with a little help form a slip-loc pliers and they haven't moved a bit. Make sure you can screw into a stud in the wall though.
